Monroe Truck Equipment has grown steadily for over five decades. Throughout the setbacks that are being seen across the world, the Monroe Truck Equipment team is prioritizing growth within our own organization. Recently, we’ve facilitated a big shift for our municipal sales team. Three members of the municipal sales team are not only promoted to bigger sales regions, but are joining together to create a team that works together to specifically improve order management processes.
The Monroe Truck Equipment team is proud to announce Wade Neville will be shifting focus to new municipal territory, and concentrate on our municipal sales strategies. Wade has spent 30 years in the industry, all with our team. He has worked several positions in our company, and has the keen customer insight and experience to adapt to his new position and address the challenges that our municipal customers face.
Using his years of insight, and several municipal relationships, Wade will leverage his experience, great communication skills and collaborative spirit to create more efficient internal order management processes to ensure our municipal customers are able to get to work right away.
Wade is excited to focus on one market and meet new municipal customers. We’re excited to see what Wade, alongside Rick, Shawn, and other Monroe Truck Equipment team members have in store for us down the line!
After over 25 years of municipal sales service with our team, Rick Nafzger is expanding his territory, and shifting his focus to our municipal customers. He has years of experience working with customers in Illinois and Iowa.
Now, he is additionally responsible for southern Wisconsin. He will be working with new customers and demonstrating the resilience and high value of Monroe Truck Equipment products.
Rick will be joining Wade and Shawn on the municipal sales-focused team to problem solve and create sustainable solutions for our internal order management processes as our customer base grows.
Rick’s years of experience, and great dedication to the needs of municipalities across the region gives him the keen insight and ability to create better solutions for customers. He not only has a deep understanding of his customer base, but also Monroe’s internal manufacturing and installation processes.
We’re proud to announce that our former District Sales Manager, Shawn Steinmann, is taking a new position as Municipal Sales Manager and joining Rick, Wade and other Monroe Truck Equipment employees as a member of our Municipal Sales Strategy team. In this new role, Shawn will work directly with all departments of MTE to improve our order management process and develop new municipal products.
Shawn started with the Monroe Truck Equipment team in 1994 as an Inside Sales Coordinator. Through the years, he has grown with our team and held roles as Truck Equipment Sales Manager, District Sales Manager in Southwestern Wisconsin, and now rising the ranks in this new position, leading the 8 person Sales team.
Shawn has 27 years of experience on the Monroe Truck Equipment team. His expertise runs incredibly deep. He has worked with the same type of customer for over 17 years, and has developed relationships with great trust and reliability. The insight he has gained from his customers through the years, and his insight on operations will be paramount in driving sales and creating more sustainable practices for our team.
